To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of Dachshunds; to promote sportsmanlike competition combined with friendly cooperation among owners, breeders, trainers, handlers, exhibitors, and others interested in the breed; to educate our members and the public concerning these dogs, their standard, training, breeding, care and exhibition
